Which european car is the most expensive to fix?
Q. I am a college student looking for a reliable car, but one that is inexpensive. I know European cars have long lives, but they are expensive to fix if something goes wrong. I am looking at Mercedes, Saab, and BMW. While we are at it if you have any info on Audis and Acuras I would love that too! :)

A. Japanese cars (though I can't stand them) are freakin' tanks. My mom's Honda blew out the radiator after 170,000 miles, but the engine is still going with a minimal amount of oil changes. As for my brother's BMW, it's been a pain in the ass. Audi's aren't great from what I've heard. But what do I know? I'm a Oldsmobile man..

A. Probably the key element is NATO, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. It used collective security for its members to stall any kind of Communist aggression in Western Europe. Western Europe would be America's first line of defense for any invasion from the Communist East. A prosperous, peaceful Western Europe kept this line of defense viable. One initial action taken to bolster Western Europe was the Marshall Plan, a bold plan to rebuild industry and free governments in that area.
