Generally, Euro notes won't be accepted at stations. However, the vast majority of stations have ticket machines that accept credit cards as long as you have a PIN number. If you're worried about getting to your airport in the centre of Copenhagen after you land at the airport, another option is to buy your ticket online from It's a little bit more expensive, but it will save you the bother of queuing. You print out your own ticket, so you don't have to worry about it arriving in the post.
